Hi,

because of this problem here "Nodes with Questionmark" one of our clusters is in a unusable state:
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/node-with-question-mark.41180/page-2#post-202390

Since there is no information from ProxMox if there is a fix planned and when, and none of the workarounds are helping ... we need to look for other solutions:
Is it possible to do a minor downgrade and install a specific version of ProxMox?
Is it possible to do the downgrade only for the nodes with problems or only for all cluster nodes?
The affected version is
proxmox-ve: 5.1-41 (running kernel: 4.13.13-6-pve)
pve-manager: 5.1-46 (running version: 5.1-46/ae8241d4)

Kernel 4.15 is on test depository now.

You can test it now.

We loaded new Kernel 4.15 in our proxmox.

Created 5 LXC guests, created cron to stop and start all 5 guests every 5 minutes.

Now it passed 6 hours, no errors yet. We are still running the test.

CPU(s)24 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU L5639 @ 2.13GHz (2 Sockets)
Kernel Version Linux 4.15.3-1-pve #1 SMP PVE 4.15.3-1 (Fri, 9 Mar 2018 14:45:34 +0100)
PVE Manager Version pve-manager/5.1-46/ae8241d4

With same setup 4.13 kernal Proxmox produced error within 30-40 minutes.

Thanks for the hint, it is also described in this post here...
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/4-15-based-test-kernel-for-pve-5-x-available.42097/

...but if you have mixed environments with quemu and lxc it is not without any risks. (quemu is possible broken...)
I will test it...

There is also a answer for my question :(
when does it get into the stable repository ?
>As soon as we consider it as stable.

Everything works well in our Testlab with the new 4.15. Testkernel.

We have also implemented crontab lxc restart solution with runs for almost 24 h without any problem... :)
