Proxmox 3. Read-only /etc/pve with inactive cluster configuration

Hello guys.

We had a server, installed proxmox 3.3-1 /a06c9f73, that was in cluster in the past. Cman is not running. And /etc/pve is read-only filesystem, in /var/log/messages syslog continiously drops messages from pmxcfs process. May be this is because of previous incorrect setup ?

We also had a couple of virtual machines on that server, they runs in production. So, please advice, how to unlock filesystem without dropping vm functionality. I cannot edit configuration of vm's because of locked /etc/pve fs. A significant downtime is also undesirable now. How I can do it? Thanks.

seem you lost quorum, how did you removed the other cluster nodes?

in order to get quorum again, you can set expected votes to 1:

> pvecm e 1

but better you analyse more before you continue with this.

I cannot understand, why proxmox expects any votes on this node because of inactive cluster state.

pvecm status
cman_tool: Error getting extra info: Node is not yet a cluster member

pvecm nodes
cman_tool: cman_get_node_count failed: Node is not yet a cluster member

Ok node is not a memeber, but still locked /etc/pve. Want to understand how I would remove it. May be this helps me? https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/safely-remove-node-from-cluster-without-deleting-containers.17682/

I cannot find any information, how to fully deactivate cluster configuration. Only reinstalling cluster node https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Proxmox_VE_2.0_Cluster#Re-installing_a_cluster_node. But I cannot move vms.
