proxmox 3.4-11 to latest version?

Im currently running 4 nodes on 3.4.-11 and i want to upgrade.
Should i go to 4.x or directly to 5

When i update 1 node at a time, wil they still be visible in the panel when some nodes are 3.4 and some are the latest version?

Wich guide is best to follow here?
 
all nodes are difrant types of servers with difrant cpu/mem etc...
im not ussing any containers only VM
