Hello,

So i have build a new computer for proxmox, I used Athlon x2 270 dual core, 4GB ram, an older SATA 160GB hdd, NF750-G55 motherboard. I did the following on my desktop box to install the ISO on my USB stick:
dd if=proxmox-ve_2.2-7f9cfa4c-28.iso of=/dev/sdc bs=1M

I booted it up on my new box and i got installation aborted: http://i.imgur.com/QYH8To0.jpg
I think it has something to do with the nForce chipset and the kernel. I tried booting Parted Magic (Kernel 3.7.5) and i had no issues.

Hi,
one fast way is to take the hdd from the server and connect them (as single disk) to your desktop. Install pve there.

If your server boot with this disk, you need only remove/edit /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules and reboot again.
