Hi all!
I´m working with Proxmox 2.0 on two HP BL460 and the cluster comes and goes. At first, I can join the nodes, few minutes later they work separately without communication between each other.
I´ve tried with disabling multicast filtering on HP Blade Network Card with no result :(

Any ideas??

Working with 2 different servers (IBM and NEC), jonied by a crossover ethernet cable, it works perfectly!

Regards,

Juan Ignacio

Although I could join both nodes and I see them on "green light", when I try to access to the second node, it refuses my connection to IP:8006 port.
When trying to re-start apache by /etc/init.d/apache2 start on the second node, I see:

Starting web server: apache2Syntax error on line 13 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/pve-redirect.conf:
SSLCertificateFile: file '/etc/pve/local/pve-ssl.pem' does not exist or is empty
Action 'start' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.
failed!

Any ideas ?

Thanks again!

Ok, I´ll try. Hope it works!
Thanks!

is this a new installation from 2.1 ISO?

As I remember, since I´ve tested Proxmox 2.0 on these servers I can make the cluster and then it stops working either by becoming "red" or not connecting to port 8006 on the 2nd node....
With 1.9 it works great... but functionalities added to Proxmox 2 and the end user interface are a good reason to move on!

Yes. A clean one.

Yes. I´ve followed what you told me.

did you followed this guide?
http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Multicast_notes#Use_unicast_instead_of_multicast

please post your /etc/hosts:

Code:
cat /etc/hosts

and your version:

Code:
pveversion -v

To generate the missing certificate run (on the node you cannot start apache):

# pvecm updatecerts

Then try to restart apache.

THANK YOU!
You can mark it as solved....!! I will use this topic URL to provide a solution to another user who asked the same question that I did.

Regards, and again THANKS!
