Proxmox 1.9 boot hangs on - proxmox ata6: PATA max

Hi folks,
System: Intel Core2Duo E8500
Board: Asus P5Q Pro
RAM: 4 GB OCZ DDR2 Ram
HDD: SATA 80GB or IDE 160GB (i changed them, because i hoped the HDD is responsible for this error)

I installed Proxmox 1.9 with the ISO file provided by the projects homepage, after the installation (1st reboot) everything is fine, im able to login write on hdd everything cool. But after the second reboot the booting screen hans on: proxmox ata6: PATA max...

any Idea what i can do? :)

if you need more information i try to give them :D
