Proxmox 1.6 with Raidcontroller Areca ARC-1260 hangs

hi guys,

proxmox is running fine, but as soon as i insert the controller card and try to boot, the machine gets stuck with a blinking cursor...

is it because i need to install those 1260 drivers from source or what could be the reason for this ?

Hi,
i have some proxmox-server with an areca controller running (works very well). I think with inserting the raidcontroller your drive order are changed... so grub don't find the right boot-partition.

Perhaps a change in the bios help - or do an install on the raidvolume without second disk...
