Proxmox 1.4 - Server Slow

I have read through the above thread several times and I am concerned now about deploying a new server I have coming in (Dell 2970) with Proxmox.

Have many been experiencing this problem? The topic above is limited to about a dozen different individuals. I would like to know if this is a wide spread issue or isolated to those with specific hardware configurations.

I plan on deploying my Dell 2970 with Proxmox using stricktly KVM with installations of CentOS and Asterisk/FreePBX installed in a colocation facility.

we did a lot of test here in our labs during the beta phase and also during the thread you posted but we did not find any issue. nothing slower than before.
