Proper way to reload nic

Hello,

i use ifupdown2 and would like to know how one should write scripts for the network folders:
if-down.d if-post-down.d if-pre-up.d if-up.d ifupdown2 interfaces interfaces.d

I'd like to write a script for each interface vmbr1 and vmbr3. If it goes down each of those two should kill his own wpa_supplicant and not both..

How do you handle it currently?
In theory, you should be able to add a commannd with post-up, post-down, pre-up and pre-down depending on when you want to run it.
An example of this can be seen in the network configuration section of the docs [0].
