Promox VE Home Assistant Integration API Token

I've setup up Promox VE and have HAOS as a VM and currently 2 LXC containers for MQTT and NGINX, all working fine. I'm trying to add the Proxmox VE integration in Home Assistant, I've followed the guide, but when I enter the API token and try to connect, I receive an unknown error. If I use just a username and password, it connects fine and as I'd expect, so the issue seems to be the the API token, but have no idea how to resolve.

Has anyone else experienced this or know how to resolve as I'd prefer to use the API token method for connecting.

without more details it will be impossible to help you..

e.g., at least provide the following:
- exact error message
- pveproxy access log entry corresponding to your attempts
- token and user ACLs/permissions

Just ran into the same problem, and found your post while looking for answers. Did you end up resolving by any chance?

No, didn't resolve, still logged in with a username and password, not ideal, but not had time to look into it.
