Hello,

About 2-3 months ago I built a small Promox Server using a Dell Optiplex 7040 SFF. 256GB NVMe as boot and 4TB HDD for data.

I'm running 2 Debian VMs on this, but the problem I'm having is no stability at all. At random times either the server or a VM or both will crash, like once a week or so.

Yesterday it happened again and looking at the syslog for both, I found this.

Promox syslog:
https://dpaste.com/FVYLY6T7C
(this error was being spammed in there, no access to web interface was available. Commands like 'qm' was showing Illegal Instruction error.)

110_VM_syslog:
https://dpaste.com/2LLQQPSMS
(VM crashed completely, no access to it all, ssh or whatever)

If any other information is required kindly let me know, I'll provide them as much as possible. Kindly help me out with this issue plaguing my setup.

Regards,
Aciel

Have you tested the memory with memtest86?
I have never tested it with memtest86. It is single stick of DDR4 2133MHz 8GB. Though I have used this same system with Windows 10 Pro as main OS for full one year and never had a crash.

I don't have a display to run a memtest86+ as I'm running the Proxmox Server headless. Wish there is an another way.
