Promox new 8.4.0 installation

Hi all,

with new interrest and enthousiast asI am I start building me new envirmont with Proxmox. But after (several for now) after new installsI am unable to use the shell :( I can't explain it. The Error im getting:

Did some checks on the mahine it self and all the services seem te be up, I mean after a clean install. Using different browser also didn't solved it. The Hardware imusing is a Dell XPS (late model). Can someone push me in the right direction please?
 
you said you tried a different browser, but are your browsers using an extension that screwing with this?
 
Nope, it's all clean from extensions. Also a different laptop -with no extensions- is able to maintain contact longer than 10 secs with the console :(...
 
so you are saying the different laptop client works fine?
this points to the other laptop having malware (maybe a system-level proxy)
otherwise these probs can come up with multi node installs and a node is down, but you sound like u have only one prox host
 
Well I was trying to say that even working with another laptop I also don't get access to to the shell. So the result is the same.... And indeed im running a single node...

Oke, I found the flaw in my config :/

Since the XPS isnt configured with a LAN port, I used is USB C LAN adapter (here we go :P) After several hours of troubleshooting i've come to notice a simple ping to my proxbox dropped packages. After that I swithed to a classic USB LAN adapter and all my problems seems to be gone #yeah
