Hello Team,
am struggeling getting a VM to work whereas one of the VM's Network Interfaces is in promiscous mode so that it receives all traffic just like received on the inbound VLAN/physical interface on the Proxmox host.
I see full unidirectional traffic (traffic is from a switch monitor port) on the proxmox physical interface, its vlan interface as well as on the vmbr interface.
But when I assign the vmbr to a VM, I can't see the same traffic on the automatically created tapxxxix interface.
iptraf-ng show it nicely:
Here's the bridge config for vmbr2
The Bridge as well its members are all in PROMISC Mode:
My issue is that I need to have the tap interface getting the same traffic as the inbound vlan interface (vlan888 in this case) so that our L7 analyzer (Netify VM) works.
Any Solutions?
Thanks,
Heiko Rehm
