Hi.
I´ve just installed a 560SFP+ 10GbE card in my proliant DL380 gen 8 and I notices that my fan speed increased from 20% to 45%.
I´ve found a thread with similar problem when using VMware and the solution is:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c05376322
Since the OCSD/Sea of sensors support is not present in the driver, the temperature data will not be appropriately read from the sensor and fans may increase speed.

Does anyone know if this drivers is availible for proxmox ?
Thanks.

DESCRIPTION
On certain HPE ProLiant servers configured with Intel adapters, the server may experience an increased fan speed due to a lack of the OCSD/sea of sensors support with VMware ESXi 6.5 Intel native inbox drivers.Since the OCSD/Sea of sensors support is not present in the driver, the temperature data will not be appropriately read from the sensor and fans may increase speed.
SCOPE
Any HPE ProLiant server configured with any of the following network adapters, running VMware ESXi 6.5, and the native inbox drivers igbn 0.1.0.0 and ixgben 1.0.0.0:- HP Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 361i Adapter
