Problems with Network

Hello guys!

I've buy one Dedicated Server at OVH, and i've installed the Proxmox via the OVH Control Panel

IDK why, i cant get network at my VMs.

I cant get internet in the Proxmox OS (The main System)

this will not work, not all all

see youre using bidged mode meaning its like the vm use the same network cable as your real host.
now in order to use an ip here you need:
an additional ip from your hoster OVH
- BUT - usually hoster wont let you use any ip, its always bound to an mac (mac and switchport usually)
so you also need to add your mac to your additional ip

i suppose OVH has some settings page for that. if they dont, or they dont support it then youre out of luck with bridge mode


if you got a subnet you could go routed

if you got only one IP then you need to go by NAT, you still can redirect ports from the host to your VM
..

still i dont understand why you rent a server at OVH to use a client operating system with gnome )
but hey thats your beer. however i cant give you detailed instructions how to setup your network
