Hello,

yesterday I updated to 7.2-2 (from 7.1 .... I think).
Since then I have massive problems with all my VMs.

It's not possible to update them or install new one.

Server:

Kernel: Linux 5.15.39-4-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.15.39-4 (Mon, 08 Aug 2022 15:11:15 +0200)

I meant physical drives, this storage called local, what is it comprised of?
Okay,

I have two storages:

First is a BTRFS raid 1 2x512gb SSD - it runs Proxmox and hosts the local storage.
The second is a ZFS raidz1 with 3x 8TB - It handels the "bigger" virtual disks (zpool01).

I'm now transfer the virtual disk from the new installed vm from local to the zpool01.
After I reinstalled the VM, it booted directly.

I tried to move a disk from a "broken" vm and got this error:

Yeah this looks like some kind of damage on local storage.
Can you inspect somehow that the disks are okay?

Apart from checking the disks with e.g. smartctl, I'd also check the host's /var/log/syslog for messages about I/O errors. Those would indicate a drive nearing it's end or if you're more lucky a broken cable, etc. In the worst case scenario, to salvage your data, there are tools like ddrescue.
