Hello, after the update, the server does not start, it shows a ZFS error, when I select an older kernel version 6.5.13-5, the system loads correctly. I have a Dell T340 server.

can you do an:
Code:
update-initramfs -u -k all
update-grub

and reboot again into 6.8 to try ?

I have a similar problem (no disks on H330 after update), booting BIOS or UEFI doesn't matter.
looks for me like the initramfs misses some module or sth. But if update-initramfs doesn't help im out of ideas.
Im using in one of my Servers an LSI 9305-24i (Backup-Server) and have no issues there with 6.8, the card just doesn support secure boot, means the os drives connected to that LSI card won't get recognized with Secure-Boot, since the card isn't available at boot time.
But that happened already since i exchanged the old HP Crap Raid-Controller with the 9305-24i, the HP-Raid controller did secure-boot without issues xD

However, that wont help you both. Seems like you're probably Stuck for now with the older Kernel. Or you have to find out which module initramfs misses, and then see if the Proxmox-Team could add it back or if there is a dkms or whatever package available.

For my LSI 9305, i have this modules that are automatically loaded (didn't needed to do or add anything)
Code:
raid_class 12288 1 mpt3sas
scsi_transport_sas 53248 1 mpt3sas
Module name / Size / Used / By

Cheers

I think, it is the same problem like mine. Can you check lspci -> Controller found, lsblk -> no disks
edit: I use the megaraid_sas driver, is it possible to switch to mpt3sas?

i have updated the controller-firmware (https://www.dell.com/support/home/de-de/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=nykx7) and linux driver to
07.728.04.00
same error:
Code:

The error is only with megaraid_sas, my other system with mpt3sas works after the update.
