I would like to thank everyone who made it possible Proxmox 2.

I have been testing proxmox and all is correct, but I have a doubt, is the next:

We have a vnc viewer in our site for connect with our vps. In Proxmox 1.9 all is correct but in Proxmox 2 not works.

The template use for test is Debian-5.0.

If I push the botton "console" from proxmox interface is ok:

root 78587 0.9 0.0 32376 2692 ? S 10:00 0:00 /usr/bin/vncterm -rfbport 5900 -timeout 10 -authpath /vms/105 -perm VM.Console -c /usr/sbin/vzctl enter 105
root 78588 0.0 0.0 18652 980 pts/3 Ss+ 10:00 0:00 /usr/sbin/vzctl enter 105
root 78589 0.0 0.0 18648 628 ? Ss 10:00 0:00 vzctl: pts/0
root 78590 0.0 0.0 2764 1484 /var/lib/vz/root/105/dev/pts/0 Ss+ 10:00 0:00 -bash

But if I want execute my vnc viewer manually not works. The error is:

Error: Server did not offer supported security type

Thanks.

I read the link you gave me and I could finally connect to container tigervnc executable in Windows, but I have not found .jar for my site. Do you know where can download?

I've also seen that within Proxmox there .jar in the path /usr/share/vncterm/VncViewer.jar. Is that you use?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Following your instructions in the API documentation Proxmox 2 I created a VNC connection with pvesh:

pvesh create / nodes / myNode / openvz / myctid / vncproxy

and the result is:

200 OK

Hi,

Thanks dietmar for you response.

Sorry, but I don't found the .jar for vnc viewer of tigervnc. I searched into the official web, but I only get the executable for Windows or repositories for Linux. Can you says the url from download the java files?

p.d: I probe the .jar file allocated in your Proxmox but need dependencies of javacript proxmox.

Very thanks.

Happy new year!

Hello Dietmar,

Your support is very good, helping me much.

I managed to connect to the server from java vnc viewer but instead of showing the black screen of the console displays a message "Error: Authentication failed".

It's strange because I sent the same data as in other active connections made from the Proxmox itself as I captured data through javascript console.
