[SOLVED] Problem with VM/CT migration

Hi everyone, I recently decided to remake my homelab, for changing, I decided to use the official Proxmox iso
(and therefore use LVM, before, I was installing from debian).

The problem is that I can't migrate cold VMs, but I can migrate hot VMs - it's really strange...
Is shared storage required?


(vmstore01 & vmstore02 on pve01 are lvm-thin pool)

Hi,
well, the storage is not available on the target and while there is an option --targetstorage for offline migration too (to select a different storage on the target), it's not exposed in the UI yet and doesn't work for all storage type combinations. With online migration, you can select a target storage and QEMU's drive mirror functionality generally works for all storage type combinations.
