Problem with Virt-io Version 262 and 266 in Win11 23H2 VM

hello

i upgraded from Virt-IO Version 248 to 262 or 266
after upgrading Virt-io in the overview of the VM there is a message
,,Gast Agent läuft nicht,,

when i return to Virt-IO Version 248 the Guest Agent ist running again

this happens only to Win11 23H2 VM

a newly installed Win11 24H2 Vm works well with the new Virt-IO version 266

does anybody else has made the same discovery??
or has anybody a solution/explanation for this behavier

Intel drivers are running



migrated VM with win11 23H2 from Proxmox 8.2.2
updated the VM to 24H2 while GPU Pci-Device are unplugged and Intel drivers are removed

with Virtio-Win-gt-x64.msi and Virtio-Win-guest-tools.exe installed
Virtio-Win-driver-installer = 0.1.266
Virtio-Win-guest-tools = 0.1.266
Get-Service QEMU-GA als ADMIN = status Running
overview (Übersicht) -- Guest Agent not running

after the update i reininstalled the intel drivers, the driver is not working anymore

P.S:
to update the VM it took me 3 days until i found a way so the VM was rebooting more than one time after the update
as you can read in my threads

if you are sitting in DACH and speak/read German we can change the thread to German?
