Hello everyone,

I'm new in the forum and I apologize if I'm wrong section.

Here is my problem,
I manage a dedicated server with the following version of Proxmox:
Code:
proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 3.4-166 (running kernel: 2.6.32-43-pve)
pve-manager: 3.4-11 (running version: 3.4-11/6502936f)
 pve-kernel-2.6.32-40-pve: 2.6.32-160
pve-kernel-2.6.32-43-pve: 2.6.32-166
 lvm2: 2.02.98-pve4 clvm: 2.02.98-pve4
corosync-pve: 1.4.7-1
openais-pve: 1.1.4-3
libqb0: 0.11.1-2
redhat-cluster-pve: 3.2.0-2
resource-agents-pve: 3.9.2-4
fence-agents-pve: 4.0.10-3
pve-cluster: 3.0-19
qemu-server: 3.4-6
pve-firmware: 1.1-4
libpve-common-perl: 3.0-24
libpve-access-control: 3.0-16
libpve-storage-perl: 3.0-33
pve-libspice-server1: 0.12.4-3
vncterm: 1.1-8
vzctl: 4.0-1pve6
vzprocps: 2.0.11-2
vzquota: 3.1-2
pve-qemu-kvm: 2.2-13
ksm-control-daemon: 1.1-1
glusterfs-client: 3.5.2-1

This installation is performed automatically by a script of OVH.
they just proceeded to send data panel access Proxmox.
Initially I was not aware of this problem since not havevo loaded a lot of stuff.
Panel OVH always noticed the ram swap to 99%, which is deduced absurd.
I have documented and managed to change the RAM swap and take it to the 19GB just that for some reason I could not bring it to 32gb.
Well after I verified that the various controls hdd dedicated to Proxmox and only 20 gb.
In my servers are available in 2x2tb raid 10.
because so little space is given to Proxmox both swap hdd,
and especially for me and can change the hdd it is to add at least another 100gb?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
do I understand right, that you want 32GB swap space??
If your hypervisor realy use the swap space you have an big problem, because all processes (which are affected by swapping) are terrible slow... so you normaly don't want an big swap space?!

What's about more ram?

How looks your mem-config:
Code:
free
Udo

Look my free :

Code:
root*******:~# free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 16326968 13127756 3199212 0 395520 8672112
-/+ buffers/cache: 4060124 12266844
Swap: 20920320 23032 20897288

Code:
root*******:~# df -h
File system Dim. Usati Dispon. Uso% Montato su
udev 10M 0 10M 0% /dev
tmpfs 1,6G 368K 1,6G 1% /run
/dev/md2 20G 20G 0 100% / <--------------- It is the hdd (space root)

Here now the hd saturated as I said before.
In fact in my server there are 2HDD 2 TB for a total of 4 TB.
How can I add disk space to the root =?
I pray you are desperate!

ok, I managed to remove the ram swap addition and stabilize the disc, and now I have another problem. For no reason the web interface Proxmox not working. I tried to clear the cache but nothing .. from a loading infinite but not charging anything. PvE-cluster daemon is started well, I rebooted the machine I tried to restart services. nothing to do . Some advice ?
