Hello,

I have a cluster in which I have install Proxmox. I have 8 PC, 4 Core Quad with 16Gb RAM and 4 I7 with 32Gb RAM.

I have Proxmox 1.3 running in the Core Quads without any problem but when I install Proxmox 1.3 in the I7s sometimes it can't find the network, I allways have a "destination unreachable" message.

If I install the 1.4 version in them I have the same problem with the network, but also when It has network, they don't sync and I have a "ERROR: 404 Invalid SOAPAction" message in the Proxmox control center.

The Motherboard I use in the I7s is a Gibabyt GA-EX58-UD5P with two Realtek 8111D for the Ethernet.

How can I fix this problem?

Thanks!

you cannot run 1.3 and 1.4 in the cluster.

to the network issues: can you try the latest 1.4 kernel?

not on the 1.4 cd, but in the repository. just run apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade.

see also here:

If I have not network I can't use apt-get...

thats why I posted the download link. use a USB stick, cdrom, ...
and then install the kernel with dpkg -i ...
