Hi, I use proxmox and in addition to the various services I have an Ubuntu virtual machine installed. That virtual machine has control over the video card so the video output is that of the server. (GPU passthrough enable)
I was using an old monitor with a resolution no higher than 1024x768... it was fine.
The thing is that now I changed the monitor for an LG 22MP410 that has a higher resolution.
It seems that the VM where I work whose display is that of the server itself, does not let me choose a higher resolution.
At first I thought it was a Ubuntu issue, but I tried with other distributions, installing them from scratch, and nothing.
I think it is possible that the proxmox resolution is affecting the resolution that I can give to the virtual machine whose output is that of the server.
How can I fix this?
Thanks!
