Good evening, everyone,

I’m reaching out because I’m a bit lost and haven’t found any solution that works so far.

Here’s my situation:

I have an HP DL380 G5 server with 2 processors and 24GB of memory. I’m trying to install Proxmox 6.4, which works fine, BUT when I try to create a VM, it doesn’t work. It shows a “no VNC” error and another issue I can’t recall right now.

I then tried upgrading to a newer version, but it’s impossible because the frequency is too high for the server to handle.

What should I do? I’m completely lost.

Thank you for your help! ☺️

What should I do? I’m completely lost.
Easiest method:
I would try hardware that was build in this or the last decade, not two decades ago.

The problem with the frequency is sadly a common problem with such old hardware. Please search the forums for possible solutions, e.g. this.
