I have a server with OVH that is running Proxmox 4.1.
I have purchased a WHMCS plugin so that they can communicate, in order to have things like automatic provisioning and allowing customers to re-install OS and such. I have tried three different modules (little out of pocket now due to my frustration haha), and all fail to login to the server. I have tried multiple things, which I will attempt to list below:
I have also tried other stuff like SSL/Non-SSL and nothing seems to make a difference. The port is 8006, the default port. It's like something is blocking the connection entirely from reaching the Proxmox server.
My WHMCS install is hosted by GoDaddy, but I have looked in various places and I can't seem to find anywhere in the settings that could be blocking the connection (No firewall, no IP blacklisting, etc). Does anyone have any ideas? It definitely ISN'T the user/password combo. I have confirmed this login numerous times, typed it manually, etc etc etc. I am also using the PAM login, although I have tried the other one but to no avail.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

- Adjusting IPTables on the Proxmox server in order to accept all connections
- Disabled Firewall on Proxmox server
- Opened the port for Proxmox (already opened, confirmed this through an online port-checker service)
- Reset the password for the account root to something simple, same issue
- Set up a new user and tried logging into that, same error
- Disabling all kinds of firewalls/iptables on the proxmox server.
- Pinging both the Proxmox server and my website, all of which seems OK.
- Checking ports open on WHMCS server(more info below)
