Hey I tried to install Proxmox on an old laptop, During the install (and after) it was connected to ethernet (for me to access the panel)
I tried using iwd to connect with wifi, didn't work. I have reinstalled proxmox multiple times,
I read the articles about WLAN and others but I dont understand them
My laptop model is Dell Vostro 3700

What does "didn't work" mean? Did you get any error messages? Did you try any tests? Was the Ethernet active at the same time? Do you know what WiFI chipset that laptop has?

You gotta give people something to work with.

Also, BTW, most wifi chips don't support bridging and so wifi tends to be a bad choice if you want your VM's to be able to talk to anything.

How do i check my wifi chip model?
Didn't work means that when i unplugged the ethernet cable (laptop was connected to wifi via IWD) the web panel stopped working.
Also, I dont have other choice, I must use wifi.

WiFI does not work automatically and you have to configure it yourself on the command line of the Proxmox host console. Note that although this might work for the host itself, it will most probably not work for a virtual bridge. Maybe these instruction can help you get WiFi working for the Proxmox host.
EDIT: If connecting a virtual bridge to WiFi does not work, maybe you can use a routed configuration or NAT instead?
EDIT2: Fixed the link.

I have connected to wifi before succesfully but panel wasn't working, also, 2nd link is broken.

WiFi is working? Good! Can you ping -c 1 1.1.1.1 for example? Can you do apt-get update successfully from the Proxmox host console? Is there any kind of error code or message somewhere? What IP address did the Proxmox host get? Can you show us your network configuration files (without the WiFi password)? What does ip a and ip r show?

And that was the problem, I was not able to ping anything and use internet, etc. but when I checked the config with IWD, it was connected to WiFi. I have uninstalled proxmox since then, I Will reinstall but only If I will be 100% sure that my WiFi adapter supports bridging, and again, may I know what is the command to check WiFi adapter model?

EDIT: I was only able to use the panel when It was connected to Ethernet, as soon as I disconnected it, panel vanished.

I don't know how to check for bridge-mode support. It might also require support from the wireless access point. Looking at the Debian documentation, you might not really need that and use ebtables rules instead. This is not a common Proxmox use case (no documentation from Proxmox itself) and I'm afraid you'll have to find someone that has experience with this (or at least more knowledgeable than me). I would start with getting a working network connection using the WiFi on the host first (without any virtual bridge) and make sure you can connect to the internet from the Proxmox host console. Or install Debian first, get it working with WiFi correctly and install the Proxmox packages later.

I was also thinking about installing gnome over proxmox so it might be easier to configure it all.
