Hi everybody.

I have a small problem.
I made a cluster on my first PROXMOX server, and i tried to add the second server on it .

But, i have this message :
detected the following error(s):
* this host already contains virtual guests
TASK ERROR: Check if node may join a cluster failed!

I tried to add other PROXMOX machine and i have the same message. The problem probably gone from the first proxmox but i don't know why.

Do you have some solution ?
Thanks .

Hi,

thanks for your answer.
Problem is solved.

To do :
- sh down all vm
- create a new repo in /etc/pve/qemu-server/TEMP
- mv all XX.conf to TEMP
After that, i can join the cluster.
- mv back all XX.conf to /etc/pve/qemu-server
VM works fine and the cluster is ok.

Have a nice day.

Please make sure to add a third node or a QDevice for a third vote, to prevent all the issues people here have with two-node clusters.
I have 4 nodes, the problem to join the cluster is solved, but not completely , i have some timeout between the nodes. work on it.
