Hello,

I have a VM machine Linux debian 10 under proxmox 6.2 which must start Windows machines in WakeOnLan on the same Ip network.
When I launch a package with wakeonlan or etherwake nothing happens on the client machines.

I tested by installing WakeOnLan.exe on a windows in the same network on a physical machine. It works I can wake up my machines.

I wonder if it is not the internal proxmox switch which blocks etherwake or wakeonlan requests

Thank you for your help

Eric

Hmm, AFAIK this should work. You could use tcpdump/wireshark to check where you see the magic packet. The VM issuing it -> on the PVE node -> a computer in the network.
