Hello,

I installed a win10 VM with virtio and qxl driver under proxmox 6.3.3.
When I use the remote-viewer client from different PCs in windows 7 or win 10 1903, I can reach my VM machines well.
By cons when I use Win 10 1909 or more remote-viewer does not work "display connection not possible"
I do not understand what is happening
virt-viewer version 0.7.
I tried with virt-viewer 0.9 it doesn't change anything.
Thank you very much for your help
Eric

Hello,
I found the problem was my AVAST antivirus blocking remote-viewer.
Thank you
Eric

Hi, I am facing the exact same issue. Did you manage to setup an Avast exception or just disable it?

By trial and error I did determine that disabling Core Shields/Web Shield allow virt-viewer to successfully connect, but no matter what exception I try to configure (exe binaries, node web address, ip, etc.) I cant seem to get it working unless Web Shield is fully disabled.

Bonjour,

Je n'ai pas réussi avec avast j'ai donc changé de firewall antivirus avec trend micro
Merci bon courage
Eric
