Hi I have an issue upgrading 1 server from 1.9 to 2.0 . the other servers updated fine without issue .the last server keeps failing so i have a couple of questions . I have all vm's backed up prior to the upgrade so is it possible to uprgrade the os via dist-upgrade and re-run the upgrade script ? alternatively can i copy the 1.9 backups to a 2.0 setup and restore them .thanks for any help that can be provided .

Thanks dietmar for your response and for your efforts. trying to re-run the upgrade script it kept failing only on the last machine the other servers updated perfectly, using dpkg-reconfigure i fixed some of the issues but on reboot i had more issues. i thought best to copy off the backups onto one of the working upgraded 2.0 servers and restore them there. again thanks for help
