Hi guys, I'm having some problems with my ryzen 9 x570 server,

I'm having random reboots, I use proxmox.
I already tried to disable c-state in BIOS, and configure power iddle control,
in addition to configuring in grub ,GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet amd_iommu=on" ,
none of these options worked the server keeps restarting.

It is with a fairly low load. I am not using more than 15% of cpu and 80% of ram.

Has anyone had a similar problem.

Hi,
please provide more information, especially the output of journalctl --since <starttime> --unitl <endtime> around the time when the reboot happens and the output of pveversion -v.

Things to consider:
  • run a memory test to exclude faulty RAM
  • booting different kernel versions and see if the issue persists
  • upgrade firmware to the latest available version
  • monitor CPU temperatures
