when I try to run the update-initramfs problem I get the following response:

root@Host-121:~# update-initramfs -u
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-6.2.16-4-pve
Running hook script 'zz-proxmox-boot'..
Re-executing '/etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-proxmox-boot' in new private mount namespace..
No /etc/kernel/proxmox-boot-uuids found, skipping ESP sync.

we use Nvidia T4 and P4 GPU in the hosts and I can't see the card in the Mapped Device to choose the profile, I'm using Proxmox 8 and the Nvidia Host Driver 535.54.06. I believe it is necessary to apply update-initramfs to enable VFIO.

I have same problem:
update-initramfs -u -k all
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-6.2.16-6-pve
Running hook script 'zz-proxmox-boot'..
Re-executing '/etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-proxmox-boot' in new private mount namespace..
No /etc/kernel/proxmox-boot-uuids found, skipping ESP sync.
root@pve:~# proxmox-boot-tool clean
root@pve:~# proxmox-boot-tool status
Re-executing '/usr/sbin/proxmox-boot-tool' in new private mount namespace..
E: /etc/kernel/proxmox-boot-uuids does not exist.
proxmox-boot-tool refresh

Running hook script 'zz-proxmox-boot'..
Re-executing '/etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-proxmox-boot' in new private mount namespace..

Hi,
I have same problem:
update-initramfs -u -k all
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-6.2.16-6-pve
Running hook script 'zz-proxmox-boot'..
Re-executing '/etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-proxmox-boot' in new private mount namespace..
No /etc/kernel/proxmox-boot-uuids found, skipping ESP sync.
by "same problem" do you mean just this error message or GPU-related issues? This message is normal if you are booting using GRUB and don't have an EFI system partition.

Same error:
No /etc/kernel/proxmox-boot-uuids found, skipping ESP sync.

Cant find solution, now i use passtru pcie for gpu, and need to change to vgpu but cant, cant update modules for kernel.

Having the same problem here and any attempt to update the kernel package crashes the machine and sends FSD to the UPS which causes huge disruptions.

I am able to duplicate the crash when I attempt to run update-initramfs -u
