[SOLVED] Problem installing

Hi, Im a complete newbie to proxmox, and have only watched som YouTubers,
and wanted to test it. I have ubuntu server on an old laptop that Im running,
and wanted to test on that. I downloaded the .iso file and rebooted from my
USB, but after I choose Proxmox setup, the screen goes all white and nothing happens.
I can only see the mouse arrow, but nothing more, If I right click, I got some
possibilites, like restart for example, but nothing happens when I choose something.

What Im I doing wrong, looks so simple when the YouTubers are doing it...

I would check the BIOS update.

Have you tried Console Mode installer instead [0]? If yes and didn't even help, you still can use Proxmox VE by installing Proxmox VE on top of Debian, see [1].

Thanks, it was that simple to go with Console Mode instead. Now it seems to work.
