I have an issue where I am trying to download a iso image via url and the pve times out. I have also tried on the shell of the machine using wget and I get a network is unreachable. DNS seems to be working as it resolves the url right away. Here is the detail of the error:

root@pve:~# wget https://fedorapeople.org/groups/virt/virtio-win/direct-downloads/stable-virtio/virtio-win.iso

resolv.conf is set to my router for dns.

I can nslookup anything on the machine and can ssh to it from putty as well as click the Shell link from the proxmox admin gui.

Any ideas?

I never figured out why it did not work, however since I have nothing installed or configured yet, I tried a rebuild and it seems to have fixed the problem. It seems the wrong interface was chosen as the default and though I could get to me router and other internal devices just fine I could not get to anything on the internet via nc, curl, or wget. Ping and nslookup worked fine only when I had it set to either my pi-hole or router as a DNS server.

Works fine now and loving it.
