Problem creating a ZFS Raid (2xWD_Red_SN700 2TB @ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme)

Hi guys

I'm trying to setup a ZFS Raid in Proxmox 7.3-3.

command '/sbin/zpool create -o 'ashift=12' ZFSa mirror /dev/disk/by-id/nvme-WD_Red_SN700_2000GB_22040D800045 /dev/disk/by-id/nvme-WD_Red_SN700_2000GB_22026C800518' failed: exit code 1

Do you have an Idea what I can do to fix this?

Are the disks in use by another program?

Can you run the command manually and post potential better error messages?

I do not know the actual reason. I would go to <node> --> Disks --> select one of them in the table --> Wipe Disk. Repeat for the other one. Retry creation.

AWESOME! the terminal command '/sbin/zpool create -o 'ashift=12' ZFSa mirror /dev/disk/by-id/nvme-WD_Red_SN700_2000GB_22040D800045 /dev/disk/by-id/nvme-WD_Red_SN700_2000GB_22026C800518 -f' did work
