Hello,

I open this topic to report a problem on the username parameter of the pvesm command.

Command:
pvesm add iscsi MyStorage -password test -portal 192.168.1.2:3260 -target iqn.2011-08.com.asustor:as5304t-8d5b27.proxmox -username test

Return Code:
unexpected property 'username'

for iscsi, pve does not support username/password, sadly the way our tooling generates the docs for these kind of config files, this is not easily apparent
if you want authentication for iscsi, you have to manually connect (see e.g. https://wiki.debian.org/SAN/iSCSI/open-iscsi )

you can open a feature request: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com
(no promises if/when we would implement it though)
