Private network

Hi all,

Went through a lot of posts but unfortunately didn't find a solution to my problem.

My request is actually pretty basic. I wanna create a private network. What I do is, create a virtual switch, OVS, or Linux bridge and then assign that virtual switch to the NIC of the VMs. But this doesn't seem to work! I leave the Ports/Slaves, CIDR, and Gateway empty, also tried setting the network IP address in the CIDR field. I configure the VMs manually with an IP address in that range, but they cannot communicate.

I have only one physical NIC.

I hope I explained my problem properly.

Hi,

Since you only have one physical NIC I guess the config will fulfill your request will be as in the below example [0].
