Postfix sender name

Hi, I've configured Postfix on my Proxmox 7.2.4 to send emails, and everything works perfectly. However, I have one issue: the sender appears as "root." I need to change this, but I have to do it on this specific version.

Got To Datacenter -> Options -> Email from address

Hi, I tried pasting my email as an example 123@gmail.com, but I'm still receiving messages where the sender is 'root'. Is it possible to set it so that I would receive the email from 'Michael', for example?

Try to change /etc/passd from
root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash
to
root:x:0:0:Michael:/root:/bin/bash
