Possible 5+ year bug? for LVM Storage onto of iSCSI (gui only, no cli at all)

I have a Synology NAS, nothing special. I created a brand new lun and a brand new target and when I add the iscsi (again via GUI ONLY), it works fine.

I then click STORAGE > ADD > LVM and BASE VOLUME comes up blank, on a brand new block level lun.

The only way that the BASE VOLUME shows up in the GUI drop down is by restarting the HOST (which I think is the bug).

Only sharing because it's frustrating.

Cannot confirm - tried to reproduce as follows (please correct if I had a misunderstanding)

* at target: created a target with 1 LUN (fileio)

* at Proxmox: defined an iscsi storage for that target

* at Proxmox: defined an LVM storage using that LUN as Base volume (were offered in GUI) - ok

* at target: created another LUN (blockio)

* at Proxmox: defined an LVM storage using the just created LUN as Base volume (were offered in GUI) - ok
