I am new to the Proxmox community and have some network related questions about my initial setup.

For now I have a single Proxmox node connecting to a layer 3 switch where SVIs are present. My assumption is that I will need to construct a Dot1Q trunked (bonded) interface between my swtich and host for network HA. Hence Im looking at implementing either Example 2 or 3 provided in the link below, not entirely sure which is the best design to choose from.

What's missing from the examples are recommended switch settings. I currently have port-channels configured on the Arista switch but beyond that I am not entirely clear what else is needed. I assume the port-channel should not be in access mode but trunk mode, but after that I am looking for recommendations on additional switch settings.
