I think this is normal, because of pmgmirror service updating configuration in cluster.
But because of this interval, I always found connection refused from our cPanel server (Exim) when try to connect to this smtp.
Connection refused always happen when there is a huge traffic goes to this smtp and sometimes Exim won't retry to sent email and only give retry time not reached for any host error.

is there any way to change this interval? or maybe exclude postfix from pmgmirror and only update when there is a change in master configuration?

hmm - please upgrade - this particular issue was fixed in pmg-api >= 5.2-2

(also consider upgrading to PMG 6 - https://pmg.proxmox.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_from_5.x_to_6.0)

Want to update for this threads.

After upgrade to PMG 6 there is no more restarting Postfix service every 2 minutes. Now only restarting when it detect change in configuration.
