PMG overwrites 'X-Original-To' when using fetchmail

Hello all,

no PMG in use yet, evaluation in progress.

Current problem:

Our internal mailserver uses the header tag X-Original-To in mails fetched via fetchmail for sorting via procmail into local mailboxes.

Now, when we fetch mail from the PMG via fetchmail, PMG overwrites this tag with the mail address specified as the delivery address in the PMG's respective fetchmail definition.

The original mail address (the original Envelope-To address, which was saved in X-Original-To) is lost on the way through the PMG, can no longer be evaluated and the mail can no longer be sorted as desired.

How to teach the PMG not to touch X-Original-To if it is already there?

Thanks in advance for any pioneering suggestions!

I just tested it (without fetchmail in front) - but PMG by itself does not remove headers - so this is either your Rule-system which drops the headers
or maybe the x-original-to header is not set in the first place when the mail reaches PMG?

Did you change your setups so that PMG does the fetchmail-fetching? (as I don't think that the config-template in PMG for fetchmail also tries to add those headers)

Maybe if you share the logs of such a mail from PMG's view we can see where the problem is.
