Hi Guys,

quick question, as I did an upgrade from PMG 6.3-4 to 6.4.
The upgrade process itself worked fine, however, the GUI (banner on top, next to the proxmox logo) sill shows version 6.3-4 instead of 6.4.
Is this just a string, that hasn't been updated or am I still running 6.3-4 instead?

Thanks!

please post the output of:
* `apt update`
* `apt full-upgrade`
* `pmgversion -v`

Seems you have still configured the enterprise repository, without having a valid subscription:
* Either get a PMG subscription to get access to the enterprise repository (recommended for production use, since it's tested the most)
* or configure the no-subscription repository:
https://pmg.proxmox.com/pmg-docs/pmg-admin-guide.html#pmg_package_repositories

I hope this helps!

That solved the issue, indeed.

I haven't touched the apt sources list, I assumed that the no-subscription ones are those in use by default when installing from the ISO. My PMG is now at version 6.4, thanks Stoiko for your help! :)

During apt update there are issues with conf files for clamav and freshclam. Do you suggest to install package provided or keep custom versions?

Please open a new thread the next time (especially since the issues are not related)

the issue with the clamav configs is that they get changed by PMG's templateing system - so actually it should not matter too much (after the next reboot PMG will write its own config there anyways) - I always keep the current version.
