Hello, I have a local Proxmox server that our team manages. We use helper scripts to build virtual machines and containers faster, and we now manage users on the server. The problem is that when we create a new user in the Linux Pam Realm to run commands from the helper scripts, it can't because the shell responds: "Run this script as root." The user is in the kernel and has sudo privileges, but can't execute the command correctly. I'd like to know if there's any way for the user to run these scripts. Thank you very much.ts. Thanks a lot.

Are you referring to community maintained helper scripts that are not part of official Proxmox channel?
it can't because the shell responds: "Run this script as root."
You should not run 3rd party scripts that force you to use root if nobody on your team can understand/troubleshoot them.
At the very least throw them in Claude and ask it to explain what those scripts are doing.

These scripts are created by a group of people outside of official PVE, if you have problems or feature requests - you should direct those to the authors. The contact information should be available on the same page where you downloaded the scripts from.
