PLEASE HELP - newbie install - network problems???

Hi all

Hope you might be able to please help me! I'm trying to install Proxmox for the first time. I am having issues getting the network interface setup. It's like it doesn't recognise my onboard network ?

The network works fine if I live boot Pop OS from a USB drive but when I boot Proxmox I cannot browse to the proxmox web interface. In fact the network appears to not be not enabled on the proxmox server. For example when I try to ping the gateway (192.168.2.1) from the proxmox sever console it says that the host is unreachable.

Attached are some photos of the network config from both the live boot Pop OS and then from the proxmox console. What am I doing wrong???? (Note that I configured my router to always assign 192.168.2.120 to the proxmox server).

I'm not sure what to try next??? Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!!

Are you maybe configuring the wrong NIC?
In your screenshot you are using bridge-ports enp2s0 in Proxmox for the bridge, but in PopOS enp1s0 is configured. Dont forget to restart networking after changing the configuration via systemctl restart networking
