Playing with 8.0.4 and locked out

I was messing with networking and now I cannot ssh or connect to the ui, I am able to access the console via IDRAC. The setting I messed with I found in /etc/pve/user.cfg

Is this the issue? How can I fix this?

that ACL line is very likely not at fault (although it seems to be wrong, or you typoed it?). please check the logs, especially for pveproxy.

I was messing around in the console, is there a log kept somewhere of all the actions made in the UI? though the API's?

Not sure what happened since I never touch the networking files manually but adding 'bridge-vlan-aware yes' to /etc/networking/interfaces seemed to have fixed my issue. I am testing this again and trying to reproduce it. I redid what I thought was the cause and everything is still working.

I do have have this server on a VLAN.

anything that spawns a task is logged as such, some other parts log into journal/syslog.
