Planning the upgrade from 4.4 to 5.0

Hi guys,

I'm planning a maintenance for tonight and I'd like your help. I have 10 VMs running on 3 nodes of PVE 4.4, for storage I'm using a external iSCSI NAS. So I'll move all VMs to node1,
delete node2 and node3, make a fresh install of PVE 5.0 on node2 (keep or change his hostname to node5 and new IP address???), put node5 again in the PVE 4.4 cluster, make same on node3, then live migration VMs to the new 5.0 node.

Now I wonder, on the remaining 4.4 node1, make the same steps made on other 2 nodes?

Please make sure you verify your backups of all VM's. You do not want any checksum errors after the fact due to bad backup storage.

I read few minutes ago that is not good to go to 5.0 because of Ceph. I'll hold for the 5.1 release.
