Pfsense issues after Linux 6.17.13-1-pve upgrade?

I updated my cluster yesterday and after rebooting the 2nd server and pfsense failed back to the upgraded node, I no longer could browse the internet, all my iOT devices lost connection to the internet. Pinging websites on the pfsense cli works , also I have a VPN tunnel and all traffic from the internet and back just works fine (running servers over that tunnel). It is connected through a WAN PPPOE connection.
I installed the modem of my provider and changed WAN to DHCP and everything suddenly began to work.

A friend of mine has almost the same setup as me , same provider, and confirmed this behavior, pfsense running on old kernel works, on new kernel Linux 6.17.13-1-pve no internet.
Pfsense says everything is online. But no internet traffic to LAN.

Booted from the older kernel and everything works again.

Any errors or warnings in the system log of the Proxmox VE host or the pfsense VM? Also, what hardware is in use here, especially network interface model but also some basic HW overview (cpu, motherboard) and the VM config would be nice to have.

Can't see any errors or warnings in de system logs. The hardware is different:

Mine: CWWK mini PC's with 6 x 2.5 Gb NIC's Intel i226-V , 12 x 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1335U
My friend: Asrock Industrial NUC BOX-1165G7 (i7) PC's with Intel i219-V NIC

VM is Pfsense +, had been working for years without any issues, is HA and can migrate it between the hosts without any issues, specs:

As I stated before, seems something to do with PPPOE, because when I change WAN to a simple DHCP interface in pfsense it works (same NIC etc). Booting from Linux 6.17.9-1-pve it works with PPPOE with 6.17.13-1-pve the issue pops up.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. Yesterday, I updated my Proxmox VE server to 9.1.6 with kernel 6.17.13-1-pve, and my pfSense instance stopped working.

Dial-up via PPPoE worked, and I could ping websites via IPv4 and IPv6 (also on Clients), but I couldn't browse any HTTP(S) pages.

When I booted with kernel 6.17.4-2-pve, the pfSense instance worked as usual again.

Another problem: I have a Splunk instance running on an lxc container. Unfortunately, I can no longer access the web interface. After a long time, the login page appears, but I cannot log in. But that may be a different problem. (Does not work with either kernel version.)
