Hello to all.
I have tried many configurations of proxmox and pfsense but every time I try to virtualize after a few minutes or hours the gateway is lost with packetlost and alarm latency, only restarting the VM brings it back up.

here's what i did:
1 following guide and online Hardware Checksum Offloading.

2tested with all virtualization modes e1000 virtio with and without additional drivers for window. used and not used the multiqueue to 8.
3 changed network devices changed server.
I always get the same problem.

none of the 4 servers (2 ml360g6 1 dl380 g7 1 supermicro x8) can solve.
i also pulled up a backup hp ml360 g6 server to test with pfsense only. but nothing.

i can only do something if i install standalone pfsense without proxmox behind.

HELP

Hardware Checksum Offloading
Should be disabled

virtualization modes e1000 virtio
virtIO (paravirtualised) works fine for me
I assume you have created a bridge to connect your NIC to the virtual machines virtIO

How many physical NIC to you have? A separate one for Wan and Lan?
Are you using Vlans at the moment?

What version of pfsense and Proxmox are you using?
