Hello,
I'm super new to Proxmox VE. I am just trying out small scall with an old PC until I know the server can achieve what I want before i buy enterprise equipment.
I have a plex LXC running with an eternal 3 TB usb drive so I can easier add movies and stuff we own too. My problem i used a guide to mount the USB drive to the LXC media folder. when i reboot my node i have to remount manually before i start the container to find it's media. How may i have the Usb mount on server reboot? I shut down my small scall experiment while at work. thank you in advance.

there is plenty of guidance on the web concerning this topic but basically you would need to add an entry to the fstab file on the host to mount the drive at boot time. If the container is configured to auto-start you may need to add a delay to make sure the filesytem has time to mount beforehand

Mp0 in fstab causes the host node to lock up on boot tried that so I manually have to mount the USB to mp1 after server restarts. It’s annoying

I found out what my issue was. The file type is hfsplus. I had to install the hfsplus to prod ox and force read in the fstab. Thanks for the push in correct direction. Also I mounted the bind mount In the config file for the container.
